
A complete transformer relies on the collaboration of multiple components to achieve electrical energy conversion. The core components are divided into four main bodies: iron core, winding coil, oil tank, and bushing, with accompanying accessories. The division of labor for each component is clear:
1, Iron core
The magnetic core of the transformer is composed of high permeability silicon steel sheets stacked together. Function: To construct a closed magnetic flux circuit, reduce magnetic losses and excitation power consumption, gather magnetic fields, ensure efficient electromagnetic conversion, and serve as a carrier for electrical and magnetic energy exchange.
2, Coil (winding)
Divided into high voltage winding and low voltage winding, it is made of insulated copper/aluminum wire winding. Function: To achieve voltage rise and fall, the primary coil is connected to the input voltage, and different voltages are generated in the secondary coil through electromagnetic induction; The outer insulation material isolates leakage and avoids inter turn short circuits.
3, Oil tank (exclusive for oil immersed transformers)
Steel sealed box, containing transformer insulation oil inside.
1. Insulation: Insulation oil isolates the coil, iron core, and box to prevent conductive breakdown;
2. Heat dissipation: The equipment generates heat during operation, which is carried away by the circulation of insulating oil and cooled by a radiator;
3. Protection: Isolate water vapor and dust, and protect internal components from corrosion.
4, Casing
Insulated ceramic/composite material components, installed on the fuel tank body, with coil leads passing through sleeves and leading out of the body. Function: Isolate live leads from metal oil tanks, achieve electrical insulation, and fix outgoing terminals to connect external power supply lines.
