Product Overview
A pad mounted transformer is a compact, prefabricated outdoor power distribution unit. It encloses the high voltage load switch, fuses, and oil immersed transformer in a sealed enclosure, while the low voltage unit is independently external. Using transformer oil as the insulating and cooling medium, it achieves voltage conversion and power distribution from 10kV/6kV to 0.4kV. It features small size, low noise, low loss, theft prevention, full protection, and strong overload capacity. It is widely used in urban power grids, green belts, parks, stations, hotels, residential areas, commercial buildings, municipal works, industrial and mining projects, and temporary power distribution projects.
The pad mounted transformer is suitable for use in 10kV ring network power supply, dual power supply, or terminal power supply systems as a substation, metering, compensation, and protection device.
