The 2500 kVA dry type transformer is a three phase, oil free, fireproof, and environmentally friendly distribution transformer using epoxy resin casting insulation. Its high mechanical strength comes from a filler reinforced resin system, which minimizes internal stress and curing shrinkage, resulting in a hard, durable cured product. Pre formed reinforcing materials are embedded within the epoxy encapsulation layers of the high and low voltage coils, creating a dense structure similar to reinforced concrete. This gives the transformer mechanical strength beyond that of pure epoxy resin, allowing it to withstand sudden short‑circuit electrodynamic forces without damage.

 

This 2500kVA step down transformer serves various voltage conversion needs.
